Autónomo quota 2026: calculate yours

In 2026 the autónomo quota still depends on your net income: what you earn minus your deductible expenses. The 2025 bases and brackets stay frozen, with only a slight rise in the MEI (mecanismo de equidad intergeneracional, the intergenerational equity mechanism), to 0.9%. Enter your monthly net income and see your bracket.

The exact quota depends on the contribution base (base de cotización) you choose within your bracket (you can contribute more to improve your benefits and pension; the absolute maximum for 2026 is €1,606.88/month). The figure in the table is the minimum quota for each bracket at the 2026 total rate (31.5%), and it's provisional: Social Security adjusts it the following year based on your real income. Quick questions

What counts as net income?
For Social Security: your income minus deductible expenses, adding back the autónomo quotas you pay, then subtracting a flat 7% deduction (3% if you're a corporate autónomo, autónomo societario). It uses your annual forecast divided by 12, and you can change your base up to 6 times a year if your forecast changes.
What about the flat rate (tarifa plana)?
If you register as an autónomo for the first time (or haven't been one for several years), you pay €80 a month for 12 months. It can extend for another 12 months if your income stays below the minimum wage.
Is this exactly what I'll pay?
Not necessarily: within each bracket you choose a base between the minimum and maximum, and the following year Social Security adjusts it based on your real income. That's why the table says "approx. minimum quota".
